A creative workshop for school kids aged 10-12, created and led by dance practitioners Annette Brandanger and Einy Åm Sparks.
The workshop centers around the two dance films UTSYN and UTSYN | samsyn, as well as the poem DAGANE by Hilde Myklebust. The workshop offers insight into the connection between language, movement and space, and the students are given the opportunity to explore their own movement independently, as well as in a group. They work with poetry and get to observe dance, both in the real space and through film. Finally, the students are given the opportunity to create their own dance film as a group, guided by the teaching artists.
