(English: OUTLOOK | stereopsis)
Dance film created in collaboration with Nynorsk kultursentrum and Ørsta and Volda Ballet School for Digitale festspel 2020.
OUTLOOK | stereopsis explores the state of being alone and isolated, yet united with others through memory and imagination. Stereopsis is the brain’s ability to combine two slightly different images from each eye into a single three-dimensional view, giving us a sense of depth perception. We all gaze at life from our own perspective, but standing together and sharing our experience can give us a deeper sense of understanding and belonging.
The film is inspired by the unique architecture of the museum building at Aasen-tunet in Norway designed by Sverre Fehn.
