E y e K n e e C o o r d i n a t i o n is a happy recipient of a week-long residency in beautiful Volda, Norway during SEANSE this June! I’m very excited to start a new piece and be able to devote a whole week to pure choreographic investigation and process together with dancers Uta Takemura, Sarah Cameron, Kevin Ho and video artist Tyler Sparks.
We’ll be sharing the spaces at Volda University College with 6-7 other groups of artists working on performances, workshops etc. targeted towards children and youth.
We’ll have the privilege of public work-in-progress showings to try out ideas and receive constructive feedback on the process.
I am really looking forward to this great opportunity to create, share and connect, and I’m also thrilled to be able to show off my home town to my fellow Brooklynites 🙂
