April 13-17 I had the great joy of participating in the Norwegian / Russian LAB at Dansearena nord in Hammerfest, Norway.
Led by choreographer Liv Hanne Haugen, the 14 participating Russian and Norwegian independent dance artists not only spent the days dancing and creating work together, but we also shared a traditional Sami meal, visited the Museum of Post-War Reconstruction and had opera and parkour lessons 🙂
A fantastic group to spend a week with, and an amazing initiative by Dansearena nord!
I am left with gratitude and inspiration!
