EMBRACING HIROSHIMA, NYC premiere

There is a lot of talk about the political aspect of nuclear weapons, but hardly any about the human impact.

Just 2 days before the anniversary of the atomic bombing over Hiroshima, on August 4th 2016, Embracing Hiroshima screened at Scandinavia House in New York City to an amazingly engaged and receptive audience. The screening was combined with a short lecture about the musical component of the piece by composer Magnar Åm.

I am humbled by the magnitude of this theme, but also so grateful to be able to contribute in a small way to shed light on the important topic of nuclear weapons. Thank you to everyone who came out for the screening!
